About
Hi, I’m Marvin Chavez—though most people know me as Chinto. I grew up in the community of Aserradores/Aposentillo, where the ocean has been a constant in my life. Surfing has always been more than just a passion to me—it’s a way of life.
I started working in tourism at 16, sharing the unique character of our region with visitors from around the world. I was fortunate to be part of the first generation to surf The Boom, and over the last 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Chancletas Beach Resort, Rise Up Surf Retreats, and Surf with Amigas. These experiences have shaped me as a surf guide, allowing me to connect with people from all over the world while gaining valuable insights into the surf industry.
Now, after years of learning, growing, and deepening my connection with this place, I’m excited to offer my own surf tours. It’s my chance to share the beauty of my home, show you the waves, and provide an experience that will leave you with great memories.
As a certified surf instructor, I bring years of experience and a deep love for the ocean to every session.

Situated in Northern Nicaragua, our base gives you direct access to some of the region’s best waves. From the powerful barrels of The Boom to the playful peaks of Nahualapa and the fun beach breaks at Aposentillo, there’s a perfect wave for every level. With warm water, consistent swells, and a variety of surf spots to explore, this stretch of coastline is a true paradise for surfers.

Getting here is easy! Fly into Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua, and we’ll take care of the rest. We provide convenient pick-up and drop-off services to ensure a smooth journey to our location.
